Andrii Yatskul Wins Agritech Day Paper Award 2024

We are delighted to announce that Andrii Yatskul is the recipient of this year’s AGRITECH DAY Paper Award for his influential paper titled “Experimental evaluation of energy efficiency of Traction assistance for towed plough.”

Andrii Yatskul, aged 34, leads the Master Program in “Agricultural Machinery and New Technologies” at UniLaSalle, Beauvais, France.

Andrii holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Central Ukrainian Technical University (2011, Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine) and another in Technical and Economical Management of Agricultural Machinery from AgroSup Dijon (2012). He completed his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering in 2016 at the University of Burgundy in collaboration with Kuhn SA. As an Associate Professor of Agricultural Machinery Engineering at Polytechnic Institute UniLaSalle and a member of the InterAct research unit, Andrii’s research is dedicated to the agronomic and energy performance optimization of agricultural equipment.

For the first time, we’re introducing the AGRITECH DAY Abstract Award, a prize designed to reward the best communication proposal and paper. This prize will be awarded by our technical and scientific committee, constituted of professors, researchers and R&D managers, who will select the most innovative and impactful proposal according to the following criteria:

  • Scientific quality / theoretical content
  • Interest and relevance to current or future market or sector needs
  • Innovation and/or originality in relation to the state of the art
  • Interest and relevance to the agricultural engineering community
  • Writing skills, logical construction of facts and results, comprehensiveness, clarity
