Florence Verpont Wins Agritech Day Paper Award 2025
Florence Verpont is the recipient of 2025 AGRITECH DAY Paper Award for his influential paper titled “New indoor system for measuring the performance of orchard sprayers.”
Florence Verpont is an engineer with a degree from Bordeaux Sciences Agro. She’s working at the CTIFL, Interprofessional Technical Centre for Fruits and Vegetables, on the Lanxade site in Dordogne (24).
Her research projects focus on Plant Protection Product application techniques in fruit growing and vegetable crops : efficiency and impact of spray application, development and assessment of new applications techniques, precision agriculture for crop protection.
She’s co-animator of the technical research unit (UMT) ECOTECH which brings together INRAE, IFV and CTIFL. The research of ECOTECH is devoted to crop protection equipment and processes for crops within IFV and CTIFL area of concern, which are grapevine, orchards and vegetables.
